General Information

How do I get started?
Getting started is easy. First, we recommend that you read the Travelocity.ca affiliate agreement. Then click on the "I Agree" button at the bottom of the Agreement to enroll directly online.

How will I know if I'm accepted into the program?
You'll receive an e-mail confirmation of your acceptance following the submission of your request for enrollment. Confirmation can take up 10 business days.

How does the Travelocity.ca Affiliate Network work?
You place specially coded graphic and/or text links to Travelocity.ca on your web site. Each time a visitor to your web site follows those links and buys an airline ticket, or reserves a car rental or a hotel reservation we note that the customer was referred by your site and credit the sale to you.

Will you promote my site?
Not exactly. We may sometimes feature an Affiliate on Our Travelocity.ca Affiliate pages or on Travelocity.ca Reporting.Net to showcase some of the affiliates we do business with, but you shouldn't count on that driving lots of people to your site. We recommend that you submit your site often to search engines and web sites that will accept links from other sites to build traffic. For help with promoting your site we recommend BeFree's Web Tools

Will becoming an Affiliate increase traffic to my site?
Our Affiliate Program is a revenue-sharing program. It is not designed to help you increase traffic to your site; however, it enhances your site with content, so your user return rate may be higher.

How do I change my account information?
Once you have been accepted as an Affiliate, you will be given access to Travelocityca.Reporting.Net. Your account information can be modified through the Update User Account link at Travelocityca.Reporting.Net.

Joining the Affiliate Network

Is my site eligible to become a Travelocity.ca Affiliate?
Any web site based in Canada may submit an application, but we do reserve the right to refuse membership to a site or revoke a site's affiliate membership at any time if we deem that the site contains objectionable material, or if the site doesn't exist or is misrepresenting itself, or if it is engaged in activity that could be considered suspect.

Does it cost anything to become a Travelocity.ca Affiliate?
No. Enrollment is FREE. There is no initiation fee, maintenance fee, or any other fees to join our program.

Can a web site based outside Canada be a Travelocity.ca Affiliate?
No. The Travelocity.ca Affiliate Program is specifically designed for Canadian based web sites only. We invite Web sites based outside Canada to join our U.S. Affiliate Program.

Can I participate in other travel related affiliate programs?
Yes. Participation in Travelocity.ca Affiliate Program does not limit your participation in other travel related affiliate programs. But to be successful in any travel program we recommend that you only participate in and promote travel sites that compliment each other and do not compete. Too many choices tend to confuse visitors and dilute your commissions, when they're spread over many different web sites that offer identical products and features.

I don't have a web site yet. Can I apply to be an Affiliate anyway?
NO. In order for us to process your application, your web site must be live so that we can review it.

The car and hotel reports are loaded every Wednesday and contain the bookings and commission you earned in the previous Monday through Sunday period.

Yes. You can have multiple sites under one Affiliate account but you must notify us of what they are so we can review them. You can make arrangements for that with your account manager once your account has been approved. Affiliate FlexTrack

What is Affiliate FlexTrack?
FlexTrack allows selected Travelocity.ca affiliates to define a parameter that they can add to the click through URL of their affiliate links. This parameter gives additional tracking capabilities to master affiliates, charity programs and loyalty programs.

Why would I use FlexTrack?

FlexTrack allows you to track sales and earnings so payments or points can be credited back to the end-customer, designated charities, and other third parties.

How do I get started using FlexTrack?
Please send an email to your account manager and we will contact you about your request.
